Changelog
What changed, and when
A release roughly every month. Tidal streams and more ports are next on the list.
- New
Surge watch reads the barometer
- Pro flags any day when forecast pressure and onshore wind will move the water by 20 cm or more.
- The flag shows the likely direction: higher highs, or lows that will not come down.
- New
Turn-back times for causeways
- Save a causeway or tidal island with its path height, and get a "turn back by" time with your chosen margin.
- Walkers can set the margin anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours.
- Fixed
Widget refreshes on time
- The lock-screen widget could show the previous tide for up to 20 minutes after a turn. It now refreshes at every high and low.
- New
Height bands for surf spots
- Save the height range your break works in; it is shaded on the curve and on the widget.
- Pushing or dropping now shows beside every height.
- Improved
A faster curve
- The year ahead now computes in under a second on older phones, down from four.
- New
Window finder for drying moorings
- Enter a drying height and the depth you need, and see every window in the next 12 months.
- Improved
Nethermill Reach constants updated
- A new year of gauge data at Nethermill Reach cut the average error there from 0.26 m to 0.23 m.
